You're not alone; There's always one...

So This isn't really a rant. this is just an update on what i have been doing lately.

so today, i went to the mall with my Girlfriend and our friends, who i am not sure if i am friends with or if they just put up with me because i am there friends boyfriend. Thats something that always runs through my mind. Either way, we had a pretty fun time, we bought candy, they girls bought necklaces, and i bought a wallet, haha a superman one, it's pretty fly..

Wow Three months already, i cant believe its been 3 months already, me and my girlfriend will have been going out for 3 months in two days, great right? i think your should be jealous haha.
well thats pretty much it for my day. ;)

So it seems like forever and always...

Wow, its been a long time since i have last blogged, todays topics is about stereotypes. 

How many of us just kid about stereotypes, i know i do, like Boys should be polite on dates with girls, and things like that. But really, think about these stereotypes we use as jokes, pretend you knew nothing about anything. just from what you saw on TV or heard on the Radio, i am going to tackle these stereotypes one at a time, but this is something i feel strongly about, These stereotypes are from http://www.progressiveu.org/153355-list-of-common-stereotypes, There are also some i have heard personally, none are my personal opinion. 

• Stereotype:Caucasians can't dance.

My reaction: What about Justin Timberlake? He is famous not just for his singing you know! he got to dance with Janet Jackson, That is an honor! How many people can say that? What is it about white people that people assume, " oh he cant dance" What does the color of your skin have to do with the way you dance or even how well you dance?

• Stereotype: Middle Easterns Hate Americans;

This is UNTRUE, if you believe this you must be ignorant, and only listen to what you hear on CNN ( not that CNN isnt a reliable source, but that they only show one side to a story.) That is like saying White people dont like Black people, just because of a past event. but we cant judge one species by one groups reactions, and actions! What if you had a druggie father, an achohalic father, and a convict brother, would you want everyone thinking you were going to end up screwed up? This i think is a stereotype that shouldnt even be there 

• Stereotype: Asians know martial arts/Black people play basket ball very well.

So where did this come from? since when? i know Plenty of asians that know, and love to watch/play basket ball, as well as black people who like the martial arts. Basket ball has nothing to do with black people though! its not as if it origionated in Africa, as Martial Arts is part of a culture, and origionated hthere. why is Basket ball associated with Black People?!

These are just some common ones i thought, should be put up, i might do another one, soon. What is it about Humans that we love to stereotype others, " Oh looks shes a band geek.", " Aw the GEEKS are sitting at our table", " All jocks are jerks"," Oh here come the dumb ass black people". " Oh great the black people are gonna steal from us".... Its soo easy to stereotype someone, but as soon as some one tries to stereotype us, we get defensive, and fussed up, Why?
